"I had a broken service lateral and Rudy came out and quickly diagnosed the problem, and gave me a quote on Wednesday. Then on Thursday, came out with his crew. Centerpoint was called for a temporary disconnect in the morning, but didn't show up be 1500 so Rudy disconnected the service lateral at the pole himself. The job itself is pretty straightforward, if you don't have problems with the conduit or line. You just pull the old wires out, attach a rope to one end, then attach the new wires, and pull until the new wires are in. However. I had a broken conduit caked with mud and the ropes with over 2500 lbs of tensile strength kept breaking. The old ground wire was damaged and spliced, which broke completely underground. The conduit was broken in multiple locations. Rudy, Roy, and Jose began digging to repair the conduit, then fished for the broken ground wire, all with a smile on their faces. A job that should have taken 3 hours max, went to about 0130 in the morning. Rudy was kind enough to even put me back on the grid so I could have power right away instead of waiting on Centerpoint to come out and reconnect me. Rudy and his crew are extremely knowledgeable, but more importantly, their can-do attitude and their willingness to do the job right, regardless of time, is most deserving of a more than 5-star review."
